Jesus Celebration Centre is building a 30,000 -seat sanctuary in Mombasa. And the vision is becoming reality! As the steel structure is being constructed, the sanctuary is taking shape. Soon the dome will be raised skyward and the communications tower will be set on the roof. This all, because of the great burden of harvesting the souls into the kingdom of God!

This is the ground breaking ceremony of the new Sanctuary
Design specifications of the new facility:
AUDITORIUM:
- Seating capacity will be 30,000 people
- Sanctuary size will be 11,630 square metres
- The auditorium will be air-conditioned
- The main seating area on the ground floor will be circular in shape with a diameter of 92m
- The suspended balcony will be equal to one-third of the size of the ground floor
- There will be a 9m corridor at the periphery to accommodate staircases, offices and circulation.
THE STRUCTURE:
- Total height of the structure will be 65m, which is equivalent to the height of a 22-storey building
- The roof structure will be very sophisticated in that it will be designed without centre columns. It will be constructed on the ground and lifted into place in one piece
- Located on the roof will be a Communications Tower to accommodate a TV station and to digitally link our three church centre locations in Mombasa
- Paved parking area will be 29,610 square meters.
THERE IS NO OTHER CHURCH BUILDING LIKE THIS IN THE CONTINENT OF AFRICA!
HISTORY & BACKGROUND OF JCC:
J.C.C. is a ministry of the Redeemed Gospel Churches in Kenya. J.C.C. was established by Pastor Wilfred Lai in 1988 with 60 members in Mombasa. Currently they have a congregation 25,000 people.
J.C.C. is one of the fastest growing church in East Africa and it is a church with a difference, where believers develop a lifestyle of discipleship through prayer, praise & worship, evangelization and teaching of the Word of God.
J.C.C. has varied ministries some of which are a one-year School of Ministry, outreach ministries and a weekly television programs in different countries.
J.C.C. also educates through a nursery-, primary-, and high school. The vision expands to the opening of mission centres all over the world to bring revival into every continent.
JC.C. believes in the holistic healing to spirit, soul and body. So a Social Program and a Medical Clinic called Zion Community Clinic was launched for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Dr. Wilfred Lai's ministry has touched millions of people throughout Kenya, US and many other nations. He preaches and teaches the Word with authority and power effecting a change in lives of people and the society. Numerous pastors and church leaders continuously express their appreciation for the inspiration and impartation they have received. As a pioneer in the television ministry in Kenya , Dr. Wilfred Lai, continues to expand with the vision of winning souls equipping the believers for the works of God.
