½ Billion Souls Project  (2006-2010)

Towards the end of 2005 the LORD spoke to his servant Dr. Wilfred Lai to start a campaign to win ½ a billion souls in the next five years. 

Realizing how immense this task was going to be, the man of God immediately decided to raise an army of ½ a million (500,000) prayer warriors for this project within the first one year.    The purpose of this army would be stand with the man of God to intercede for the ½ billion souls in 5 years.   

This project is an international/interdenominational project focused on bringing in the final harvest before the return of our Lord and Saviour. 

 The Project:

Half A Billion Souls Project is a 5 year interdenominational global project aimed at harvesting 500,000,000 souls within the stipulated time (2006-2010).  The project will work with all evangelical churches with the view of training believers from those churches in effective methods of evangelism and discipleship.  This will bring both qualitative and quantitative growth in the church of Christ.

Strategic Objectives:

 1)     Raise a prayer Force of ½ a million believers in Kenya. (Sept 2006- Aug 2007)

• Recruit Provincial Coordinators
• Recruit Field Staff
• Recruit Prayer Force

2)     Mobilize for Prayer Rallies in all the Provinces of Kenya for the 5 year duration of the project.

• Organize for Monthly Prayer Rallies through the Field Staff
• Organize for half yearly Prayer Rallies through the Provincial Coordinators
• Organize Annual Prayer Rallies through the National Office.
  
• Establish a two way communication system between the Head Office and the Prayer Force.

3)     Create awareness to the Church on the need to reach out to the regions within and beyond.

• Meeting with Church leaders and Pastors
• Church visits/ information sharing
• Project launch programs in different Nations
• Gather and disseminate outreach information to Churches and Para- Church Organizations

4)     Build Capacity of Churches for Evangelism and discipleship by establishing Great Commission Schools.

• Gather resource materials for training
• Identify and train facilitators
• Organize for seminars and workshops in Churches
  
• Set up follow up structures
• Establish a system of data flow from the Churches to the Head office of new converts.

5)     Partner with Para-Church Organizations and Churches to develop and facilitate Strategic Outreach Programs to communities and Nations.

• Identify like minded Para-Church organizations to form partnerships.
• Facilitate Research in the communities in collaboration with local Churches to establish relevant outreach programs
• Facilitate forums for Outreach Program Development with the local Churches.
  
• Facilitate the implementation of the Strategic Outreach Programs by the Churches.
  
• Follow up to ensure sustainability of the harvest by the local Church.

6)     Send out Missioners to the Unreached communities to Nations to evangelize and plant Churches.

• Identify the Unreached communities and Nations in collaboration with the concerned organizations
• Identify the people that are to be sent as Missioners to the Unreached
• Training of the identified Missioners.
• Facilitate Church planting in the unreached communities.
• Oversee initial functioning of the planted churches
