Children Ministry

Jesus Celebration Centre has a powerful Children Ministry.  We have over 1000 children who attend the Sunday Church.  Drawn from various backgrounds and classes, the children come together every Sunday to one level ground, with only one purpose, ‘ to meet with Jesus.   Jesus said "Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them;   for such is the Kingdom of heaven.  And He laid His hands on them........ (Matt. 19:14-15)

In obedience we let them come to him just as they are regardless of their age, colour or background. 

LIGHT TO THE NATIONS CHILDREN CHOIR

This choir was started in year 2000 by teachers Donald Omondi and John Adeya,  The choir has positively impacted the lives of many children and especially the more that 300 who are already members of the said choir.

Children as young as age six join when so shy and unassertive.   As they join this class that has children up to age seventeen, you start noticing change in them.   Here they learn the Bible, they draw near to Jesus and they worship Him and dance like David danced.   They increase in association, a positive association as they learn the Word, loving Jesus and those who love Him.

When we began the choir we prayed that all who join will surely be.  Inspired by a song by Maranatha ‘Lights to the Nations', our prayer has been that these children will surely become ‘a light to the Nations of the earth.   We have made it our constant prayer and it must come to pass that they will carry the Gospel to the four corners of the earth as preachers, professionals, statesmen, or worship leaders.   They will also rise to positions of influence in Kenya first and then in the rest of the world to the praise and glory of God the Father.  In their generation, they will be a mighty force against the powers of darkness. One that will be unstoppable.  God will cause it to happen.
